Revitalizing Communities
CHF International has been operating in Iraq since 2003, implementing the Community Action Program (CAP). Through CAP, CHF is implementing community-led development and reconstruction programs to revitalize physical and social infrastructure. CHF also operates the Access to Credit Services Initiative (ACSI), the largest microfinance program in Iraq, and the Iraq Middle Market Development Foundation (IMMDF), which provides loans of up to $5 million to promising enterprises.
CHF International has been helping the people of Jordan for more than a decade to by expanding access to credit, increasing economic opportunities, and investing in community-based organizations and youth.
CHF International has been working in Lebanon since 1997, implementing community-driven programs that address a broad range of social issues, from agricultural development, to education, and the environment. CHF's current programs focus on improving the educational resources within schools, promoting agri-business, providing access to microcredit and capacity building for local municipalities.
CHF International has been working in the West Bank & Gaza since 1994. CHF programs promote stability through economic opportunity by providing microcredit loans, strengthening local governance, empowering women through entrepreneurship, and more.
CHF International's programs in Yemen focus on empowering young people by providing them with critical opportunities to stay in school, enhance their skills, and compete in the job market in a safe and sustainable way.
