CHF International’s approach to HIV/AIDS programming is to build the capacity of local government, civil society groups and communities to increase access to prevention, care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS, affected by HIV, or those at risk of contracting HIV. CHF’s programming in HIV/AIDS has been in Colombia, Honduras, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Our work in health aims to integrate community based responses to reduce people’s vulnerability to health obstacles while at the same time promoting healthy living. CHF promotes sustainable approaches that help vulnerable people to work their way out of poverty and address their health needs.
